Air Fryer Apple Chips

Air Fryer Apple Chips

Wash 2 apples of your choice

I like to use Pink Lady's

Use an Apple Corer to remove just the ends of the core/stem

Its not necessary to core the entire apple

Use a Mandolin set on the thinnest slicer

Slice both apples

The seeds will pop out easily.

Optional you can lightly sprinkle Cinnamon or Pumpkin Pie Spice on each slice

We have found the Apples have enough flavor without the spice.

It is not necessary to mist the Apple Chips with Oil

Place the Apple Slices into the Air Fryer Basket; over lapping them

It is not necessary to preheat the Air Fryer

Place the basket into the Air Fryer

Set at 325*

Cook for 10 Minutes

Use a fork to turn the Apples

Cook another 10 Minutes turn again

The Apple Chips can burn quickly

Now check the Apples every 5 Minutes

turning and taking out any that are done

Continue cooking until all Apple Chips are done

It takes an average 35-40 minutes total to cook

Place the Apple Chips on a wire rack to cool completely

Its important to keep an eye on them so that they do not burn

Sometimes a few may stick together. Separate them and continue to cook until done.

I store mine in a bowl uncovered.

We eat them quickly but I have made them and they stayed crisp for 5 days as long as they are not covered. I'm sure they will stay crisp even past 5 days. By then we have eaten them all.

I'm using the

Philips Air Fryer

Model HD9621

I bought it at Bed Bath and Beyond. I'm not sponsored or being paid by Bed Bath and Beyond or Philips. I'm just sharing what I am using.

I've read that different Air Fryers have different Wattage's

Air Fryer Teriyaki Chicken Wings ~ Gluten Free

Air Fryer Teriyaki Chicken Wings ~ Great Super Bowl Snack

We absolutely love how good Chicken Wings come out of an Air Fryer. They are easy to make and are delicious.

I made the Chicken Wings Gluten Free using Gluten Free Tamari Sauce.

These will make a great Super Bowl Snack.

Air Fryer Teriyaki Chicken Wings

I bought Frozen Chicken Wings that the Tips were cut off and they were cut into sections. Defrost over night in the Refrigerator.

I used 6 Defrosted Chicken wings a total of 12 Pieces
Rinse in a Colander and dry with a paper towel.

Place in a Food Storage Baggie
Pour in the Marinate and mix around so that all the chicken wings are coated
¾ Cup of Tamari Gluten Free Soy Sauce (I Used San-J) or use Soy Sauce
¼ Cup Orange Juice
Garlic Paste to taste
Ginger Paste to taste
Marinate 1-2 hours turning every 15 minutes

Line the Air Fryer basket with foil leaving a 1” gap open on all sides.
Pre-heat Air Fryer to 350* for 5 minutes
Spray the foil and pan lightly with cooking spray. I use a mister.
Layer the Wings in the Pan

Air Fry for 10 minutes then turn the wings over
Continue another 10 minutes turn over again
Check in 5 minutes to see if they are done.
I use a digital Thermometer. Cook until 165* internal temperature.

Mine took 25 minutes.

ENJOY!
