Air Fryer Grilled Cheese Sandwich ~ Gluten Free


 
I'm using the
Philips Air Fryer
Model HD9621
I bought it at Bed Bath and Beyond.

I've read that different Air Fryers have different Wattage's
Adjust times and temperatures to your Air Fryer.



Preheat Air Fryer with the Basket to 370* for 5 minutes

I'm making my Grilled Cheese Sandwich Gluten Free.

I used Gluten Free Canyon BakeHouse Heritage Style Home White Bread
Use any Bread of your choice

You only need a very thin coating of Butter or Ghee

I used Ghee,, if you use Butter have it softened

Spread the Ghee/Butter thinly on one side of two slices of Bread

Top with Cheese of your choice

I used Swiss and Sharp Provolone

Place the Sandwich in the Basket
Air Fry for 4 Minutes turn the sandwich over
Air fry an additional 3-4 Minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.

I served my Gluten Free Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Fresh cut up Veggies

Gluten Free ~ Low Carb Deconstructed Pizza Casserole

Gluten Free ~ Low Carb Deconstructed Pizza Casserole

1 Can (14.5 oz) Diced Tomatoes (No Petite diced)
6 Links Hot Italian Sausage or any other Sausage of your choice
EVOO
Spices ½ tsp of each or to taste
Basil Fresh or Dried (I used Frozen)
Italian Seasoning
Oregano
Garlic Powder
12 oz Fresh Sliced Mushrooms
1 Sliced Onion
1 Slice Green or Red Pepper
Minced Garlic
2 Cups Grated Mozzarella Cheese
28 Slices of Pepperoni (more or less to your preference)
8: Bake

Preheat over to 400*

1: Spray a 8X11 Glass Casserole dish with cooking spray
2: Drain the Tomatoes in a colander and add spices
3: In a Non-stick skillet add 2 tsp. EVOO and the Sausage,, squeeze out of the casings, Break apart.
Cook over medium-high heat until browned and done. Drain in a colander. Place in the bottom of the baking dish.
4: Top with the drained and spiced Tomatoes
5: Using the same skillet.. rinse and dry add 2 tsp EVOO and the Sliced Mushrooms, Peppers and Onions. Saute until done. Add the minced garlic at the last minute.
6: Layer the Mushroom mix over the Sausage Tomato mixture.
7: Sprinkle the Grated Mozzarella over the Casserole. Layer on the Pepperoni
8: Bake 25-30 Minutes or until melted and starting to turn golden brown.

Let cool 5 Minutes before serving. This helps the cheese to set.

I served the Casserole with Zoodles.

Steel Cut Oats with Chia and Flax Seeds ~ Gluten Free




Steel Cut Oats with Chia and Flax Seeds

In a medium sauce pan:
Boil 4 Cups Water
Add:
½ tsp. Salt
1-2 tsp Cinnamon or Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 Cup Steel Cut Oats
Stir using a wooden spoon and reduce heat to Medium Low uncovered
Simmer 20 minutes 
stirring every 5 Minutes or until the water is absorbed

Add:
¼ Cup Chia Seeds
¼ Cup Ground Flax Seed Meal
using a Wire Whisk mix together to incooperate it so it doesn't lump up and simmer another 3-5 minutes

Remove from heat and let sit 5 minutes.

I use an ice cream scoop to help measure into mason jars.
In the Video I used 4 Jars but have now changed it to 5 jars as it was very filling for me.

Top each jar with Frozen or fresh fruit of your choice

Cover and place in the refrigerator.

When ready to serve pull out a jar, remove the cover.

Microwave until warm. Each microwave is different. It takes about 1-1/4 minutes to heat in mine.

Give it a stir.

I add a little Unsweetened Almond milk
Sprinkle on any toppings of your choice:
Mixed Nuts
Coconut
Hemp Seeds
Cacao Nips
I do not add any honey or Maple Syrup as the Fruit makes it sweet enough for me but you can add that if you like it sweeter.
